Middaugh captured her second career Skins title, winning $31,000 compared to $11,000 by McCormick. For the weekend, she pocketed a record total of $65,500, surpassing the $64,250 won by Sherry Anderson in 1999. McCormick settled for a weekend total of $23,000. After two carry overs, Middaugh struck first in the third after McCormick came up short on a double-raise takeout to steal the end for $5,000. Middaugh would go on to take five of the first six skins for a total of $18,000 compared to just $2,000 for McCormick. However, McCormick came back with a $9,000 skin victory in the seventh, setting up a dramatic finish. With $28,000 on the line and McCormick's rock buried at the end of the button, Middaugh needed a highlight-reel type shot in the eighth - an angle raise takeout for two - to prevent the match from going to an extra-end shootout. Under event rules, the team with the last rock in the last end has to score at least two to win or the skin carries over to be decided in a closest to the button shootout for all the money. Middaugh moves into third place on the all-time money list at this event with a total of $121,100 in earnings. The victory comes just one week after her husband, Wayne Middaugh, captured the McCain/TSN Skins Game in record fashion, winning $88,000.
