OLYMPIC CURLING HISTORY

 1992 - ALBERTVILLE (PROLOGNIN-LA-VANOISE), FRANCE:

 February 8-23, 1992

 Demonstration Event

Due to problems with the ice -- "...two sheets were virtually unplayable, while the other two left much to be desired" -- the Men's and Women's tournaments were divided into two groups, with round-robin games being played only within each group.

Playoffs were done on a crossover basis, with #1 playing #2 in the opposing group, and vice versa.
